Despite the fact that this project never saw the light of day, it won a Bronze Addy at the American Advertising Awards. Bab Idris, a Lebanese restaurant, was to open its doors in Downtown Beirut, followed by additional branches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Multiple designers were hired to compete on an identity, but the work of a different design agency came first.
Bab in Arabic means door. Taking advantage of the stems of the Arabic alef letters, an oriental door was designed holding the entirety of the name and logo together.
